Devoted son of the late Letitia and George E. Railton; beloved husband of Margaret Wallace Railton; brother of Thomas E. Railton (Joan) and the late Mary E. and Lyman Swan. Devoted father of Kathleen Andrews, George E. Railton III and Karen Blodgett (Larry); loving step-father of May Kleinsteuber, Gary and Keith Gamache; loving grandfather of Spencer and Olivia Blodgett, Nathan and Chelsea Andrews, Courtney, Jack, Kyle and Sean Railton. Loving step-grandfather of Karla Inostrosa and Christina and Juan Valencia; Loving step-greatgrandfather of five. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and long time friend Walter Bankovitch.

Graduate of St. Emedius Elementary School, class of 1952, Riordan High School, class of 1956 and Saint Mary's College, class of 1961. Teacher and Head of History Department at Riordan High School, 1962-1979. Twenty-one year member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church where he served as lector and Eucharistic Minister.

Friends may visit after 3pm on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 and are invited to attend vigil service at 7:30pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 1721 Hillside Drive, Burlingame, CA 94010. Internment immediately following the Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers to Riordan High School Development Fund, 175 Phelan Ave., San Francisco, CA 94112 or the Capuchin Franciscan Order Our Lady of Angels Province Office of Development, 1345 Cortez Ave., Burlingame, CA 94010.
