Thomas Richard Cleary, age 77, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at his home in Fresno, CA. Tom fought a courageous battle against cancer. Tom was both a coach and a teacher to many, but most of all a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be forever missed in our hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Louise Cleary. He leaves his wife of 49 years, Marilyn Cleary; his daughter, Nicole Palmer and her husband Franco; his daughter, Michelle Short and her husband Larry; four grandchildren, Camryn, Cullen, McKenna, and Lauren; four brothers; four sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at St. Paul Catholic Newman Center on Friday, September 29, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. A Mass and Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul Catholic Newman Center on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would like any donations to be made to Poverello House; San Joaquin Memorial Catholic High School; or Saint Helens Catholic Church.
